A little about me
I'm Matthew, a product designer based in San Francisco. I was born in the Bay Area but spent much of my childhood in Botswana, South Africa, and Uganda. Growing up across those places shaped how I think about design. It made me naturally curious about context, and quick to question assumptions about how things "should" work.
Before I got into design, I studied biotechnology. That background gave me a high tolerance for complexity. I'm comfortable working through messy, uncertain problems without needing everything defined upfront.
In practice, I care about how things are structured just as much as how they look, and I do my best work on projects where strategy, design, and build all need to stay connected.
